It’s not the most widely used method on anyone’s road to recovery, yet Dance Movement Therapy is an incredibly effective method for kids and adults alike dealing with issues from mild anxiety to severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and everything in between.
When people reach a plateau with talk therapy, it means, they haven’t quite reached recovery at “the body level.” With a world that’s continually in crisis, we need to look at all of our options, especially for young adults and kids who can’t always find the words to describe what they’re feeling.
